Workshops
Yin/Yang Yoga with Amy Anderson
Fridays from 6:00 to 7:30pm (6 weeks $72)
Meets: May 9, May 16, May 23, June 6, June 13, and June 20 (no class May 30)----the flyer (linked above has a mistake and doesn't list June 20 (oops!)
This class combines the longer, passive-style pose holds of Yin Yoga with a more active Yang Yoga practice. Using the Chinese meridian system as the foundation for Yin practice, learn to disengage muscles to stretch joints, balance chi. A more traditional style of Yoga is used for Yang poses. Blending Chinese and Indian styles of working with the body brings movement to joints ad strength to muscles which supports mediation practice. All body types welcome, 6 months regular yoga practice encouraged.

Yoga Bookclub

This book club will allow students to go deeper into understanding the foundations of practice. Review, discuss and practice the principles discussed in each chapter.
The book for this 6 week session is "Yoga Mastering the Basics" (books can be purchased through the center at a discount.)

Moving Through the World With Heart
