NICOLE E. CRAWFORD, MA, MS, LIMHP

Nicole is a trauma-informed psychotherapist who utilizes a somatic and psychodynamic approach. She explores past and present identity formation, intimacy patterns, and personal metaphors to help her clients gain better understanding of the rest of their stories. Through nonjudgmental perspective exploration she engages the unconscious via creative invitation and the body. Nicole often partners with people who are experiencing the confusion and shame that comes from living with persistent emotional hunger pangs. At the core of her therapeutic work Nicole facilitates the healing process between her clients and their deep desire for a well-fed life.

As a certified Fair Play Facilitator, Nicole supports individuals and couples in the naming and navigation of the physical, psychological, and emotional symptoms that come from relational imbalances. She is passionate about shedding light on invisible labor that, when left unacknowledged, can lead to disconnection and burnout. Nicole believes in the integral role of embodied androgyny in healthy relationships, and she aims to empower her clients by raising awareness around how gender and race impacts privilege, diagnosis, social credibility, and cultural progress.

Nicole has experience working with depression, anxiety, relationship issues, grief & loss, complex PTSD, parenting/co-parenting stressors, and life transitions. She holds a Master of Arts in Depth Psychology with emphasis in Somatic Studies from Pacifica Graduate Institute and a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The University of Nebraska at Omaha.
